At the Civil Rights Museum in Montgomery, Alabama, there’s a monument dedicated to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and all those who have struggled for racial equality in America. The monument is a circular slab of granite over which flows a gentle, never-ending stream. Above it appears Dr. King’s favorite verse:
Let justice roll on like a river,
righteousness like a never-failing stream!
Read those words again. Soak in ’em. Let ’em seep deep into your soul. And then ask God to help you be a person who passionately pursues justice and righteousness. It just might change the world.
