Here’s VERSE #9. Memorize it. Meditate on it. Marinate in it.
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that all God’s people may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
What a picture: The Bible captures the very breath of God.
Since the Creator of the Universe took the initiative to communicate with us, we’d be absolute nincompoops not to spend lots and lots and lots of time soaking in His words and listening to what He has to say. But don’t stop there. Take it to ♥. Ask the Holy Spirit to use those words to teach, correct and train you and then go do the good works He’s prepared in advance for you to do in your brief time on this planet. As the Bible says:
We are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. (Ephesians 2:10)
