PSALM-O-RAMA: Rest

It’s PSALM-O-RAMA 2012 here on GUWG where all week long we’ll be taking a deep dive into the Book of Psalms.

Unplug. Unwind. Un-whatever-it-is-you’re-doing.

If you’re at all like me, you don’t spend nearly enough time resting in God. Take a deeeeeeeeeeeep breath and spend the next few moments with our Heavenly Father pondering what is perhaps the world’s most beloved psalm. Let each word seep deep into your soul, fill your mind and quiet your heart.

The Lord is my shepherd,
I shall not be in want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
he restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the valley
of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
(Psalm 23)

    This was my mothers favorite, I just release again what ever I am going through at this stage of my life, my God will never leave me! I am working with people that attacks you as a person so much and is trying to humiliate and degrade me, but the truth is they do not no that my God in me is greater than all my enemies in the world! That is why I will Bless them and pray for them! Thank you for all your quotes everyday, I have been following you for about two months and it is a Blessing each day! God Bless!
