Naked In, Naked Out

Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised. (Job 1:21)

Whether you’re Donald Trump, LeBron James, you or me, here’s exactly how much stuff we get to keep when we die:

Zip.
Zero.
Zilch.
Nada.
Bupkus.
Doodley-squat.

Stop living by the world’s over-stuffed standards. Start living by God’s.

He’s all you need.

This reminds me of how easy it is to get caught up in what we have or more often DON’T have. I love Hebrews 13:5: Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” I think “money” could also include relationships, good looks, more vacation time from work, etc….
God will NEVER leave us! That is priceless.

*GetUPwithGOD is a huge encouragement to a lot of people. Thanks for keeping with it.

I remind people all the time that the ONLY thing we take with us when we die are memories! So live a good life full of good memories of doing your best to follow the words of Christ. Amen!
