Jesus on Salvation, Part 2

gripWe continue our journey into every word spoken by Jesus in the Gospels to help us all KNOW JESUS MORE NOW.

We’re taking a look at what Jesus said about a variety of absolutely critical, life-altering subjects in his own words with a minimum of commentary from me.

Today’s topic: Part 2 of JESUS ON SALVATION. Yesterday we looked at selection of verses from John’s Gospel. Today we’ll look at what the rest of the Gospels say.

ROMANS ROAD

It’s ROMANS-O-RAMA here on GUWG, where all week long we’re taking a look at one of the Bible’s most revolutionary books.

Ever get tongue-tied when it comes to sharing the Gospel? Fear no more.

Here’s a handy road map to salvation courtesy of the Apostle Paul. Share it with the world.

Salvation Saturday

Know anyone who doesn’t know Jesus or who is struggling with their faith?

Here’s a great prayer from Jesus-hater-turned-evangelist Paul for precisely that situation. Personalize it, fill in the blanks and pray through it with all your heart.

VERSE-O-RAMA Day 3

Monday, we kicked off VERSE-0-RAMA 2019. I shared my favorite verse and then asked y’all to share yours.

I love this verse sent in by a gentleman named Cliff. Basically, it’s the entire Gospel in less than 30 words:

Fearless Friday

Here’s this week’s Psalm. Meditate on it. Memorize it. Marinate in it.

The Lord is my light and my salvation —
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life —
of whom shall I be afraid?
(Psalm 27:1)

Sunday Prayer

Here’s a great prayer from the Apostle Paul to pray for the people in your life who may not know God. Personalize it and pray through it with all your heart.

I keep asking
that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ,
the glorious Father,
may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation,
so that you may know him better.
I pray also that the eyes of your heart
may be enlightened
in order that you may know the hope
to which he has called you,
the riches of his glorious inheritance in his saints,
and his incomparably great power
for us who believe.
(Ephesians 1:17-19)
