Blessed Are The Hungry? The Thirsty?

We continue our journey into every word spoken by Jesus in the Gospels to help us all KNOW JESUS MORE NOW.

We’re taking a deep dive into the Beatitudes. Here’s today’s selection.

The world says: Hunger and thirst for the things of this world. Eat lots of Big Macs. Drink lots of Bud Light. There’s no such thing as “right” and “wrong” anyway.

Jesus says:

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. (Matthew 5:6)

Once again, Jesus turns the world on its head.

Blessed Are Those Who Seek Righteousness

We continue our 40-day journey deeeeep into the ♥ of Jesus.

We’re sitting at Jesus’ feet, listening to the greatest sermon ever preached: the Sermon on the Mount.

Happy MLK Day!

At the Civil Rights Museum in Montgomery, Alabama, there’s a monument dedicated to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and all those who have struggled for racial equality in America.
