Blessed Are The Pure?

We continue our journey into every word spoken by Jesus in the Gospels to help us all KNOW JESUS MORE NOW.

We’re taking a deep dive into the Beatitudes. Here’s today’s selection.

The world says: Purity is boring and outdated. Sex sells. There’s no such thing as sin. Anything goes.

Jesus says:

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. (Matthew 5:8)

Blessed Are the Pure in Heart

GUWG-PureWe continue our 40-day journey deeeeep into the ♥ of Jesus.

We’re sitting at Jesus’ feet, listening to the greatest sermon ever preached: the Sermon on the Mount.

Thoughts to Think

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable — if anything is excellent or praiseworthy — think about such things.  Philippians 4:8

This is a great verse to keep in mind.  Literally.

Try to fill your head with things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent or praiseworthy.  If a thought doesn’t fit one of those categories, don’t think it.

Want a good place to start?  Think about Jesus.
