Jesus went through the grain fields on the Sabbath. His disciples were hungry and began to pick some heads of grain and eat them. When the Pharisees saw this, they said to him, “Look! Your disciples are doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath.”
Jesus traveled to Jerusalem for one of the Jewish festivals. He went to a pool called Bethesda, which was surrounded by people suffering from various disabilities. Legend had it that every once in awhile an angel would dip his wings into the water and stir it up and that the first person in would be healed.
