The Bible on the Bible

We continue our Stamp Out Bible Illiteracy Gently (SOBIG) campaign here on GUWG.

Last week, we kicked things off with our official Bible Quiz-o-rama to help us all assess our level of Bible literacy. We then went through a slew of ways to get more Bible into our s.

Yesterday, we started answering this question: What exactly is the Bible?

Today, we’ll do a deeper dive into what the Bible says about itself. Read the following passage slooooowly:

The instructions of the LORD are perfect,
reviving the soul.
The decrees of the LORD are trustworthy,
making wise the simple.
The commandments of the LORD are right,
bringing joy to the heart.
The commands of the LORD are clear,
giving insight to living.
Reverence for the LORD is pure,
lasting forever.
The laws of the LORD are true;
each one is fair.
(Psalm 19:7-11) (NLT)

Ponder these words again. Roll ’em around in your soul.

PERFECT

TRUSTWORTHY

RIGHT

CLEAR

PURE

TRUE

Amen!
