Enlarge my heart

Today’s topic? Love Power.

To me, the freakiest part about being a Christian is that God — the creator of the universe — comes to live in you. The Bible says: “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?” (1 Corinthians 6:19)

That means that God’s power is available to us mere earthlings 24/7. The Bible catalogs all the amazing things we can expect if we let God act in our lives. #1 on that list? LOVE.

Put another way, God wants to give us a heart transplant. He says: “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.” (Ezekiel 36:26)

Let’s let God crack our stony hearts and unleash the power of the Holy Spirit to love those around us today.
